  Ad Hoc Publications specialises in gathering together the recollections and opinions of retired service airmen (principally from the Fleet Air Arm and the RAF) and publishing them in a series of illustrated books known collectively as 'From the Cockpit'.

  An American calligrapher. Almost daily info and 'work' to look at. She runs classes and shows mini videos. Masses of sites to go into and view other artists work.Most encouraging for non-profressionals. She is a recent Grandma and very friendly.

  Monthly walks are held on the second Saturday of each month, May to October inclusive. These are as much a social event as a healthy-living activity, and we attempt to finish off each walk with Tea taken in a member‘s home or on the hoof, picnic style.

• Midland Mac User Group
  We meet socially once a month, usually with a presentation about something AppleMac. The chat group helps with any problems - some people just look at that. We don't have a shrine to St. Stephen of Jobs....

• Radio Caroline
  Radio Caroline has been broadcasting since Easter Sunday 1964, and, especially during her days at sea, has seen many adventures - shipwrecks, raids by the 'authorities' and much more. The Caroline ship Ross Revenge is 50 years old this year.
